Kony 2012 has become a viral sensation with tens of millions of views in just a week. Sorry, folks but this entire thing reeks of propaganda. This is the first time the CIA or similar organization is dedicated to using the social media tool, Facebook, to sway public opinion. It's not the first time, nor will it be the last, that average dummy Joe Blow (who watches too much TV) gets all riled up about disinformation.


Kony 2012 is not what it seems. 


Why the sudden interest in Uganda? ‎


Six million people have died in the last decade in the Democratic Republic of Congo... But we don't hear about that! Why? The USA benefits from the proxy war in Congo. And Congo doesn't have resources we want. 


Why Kony and why Uganda? What a coincidence that oil was discovered in Uganda two years ago.

Just like Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and other middle east countries, we are told that we must save these people. But what happens? We bomb and kill them. Iraq and Libya should be more than enough to wake people up to a smoke screen.


Kony 2012 seems suspiciously to be merely a psy-ops operation to get US public opinion behind more US military action in Uganda to control their resources. The US already has 100 soldiers on the ground in Uganda by the way.


If episodes like this continue, it will even further ruin the credibility of Facebook like the credibility of the main stream media has been ruined. Look for this to be a preview of how Facebook will not be the powerful social media tool it once was in about 5 ~ 10 years.

American Exceptionalism: How Murdering Children by Drone is Actually Saving Lives - When the US Government Does It!

I think America needs to order that tombstone to be made.

I think because I am an American, I meet and talk to a lot of Americans (of course). You know, birds of a feather and all that. I'm no Einstein, but all I can say is that there sure seem to be a lot of boneheaded Americans running around with some very twisted and weird ideas. I think that can be expected from the average Joe Blow, but you'd think that university grads might offer a bit more logical and clever insight... I am often really (unpleasantly) surprised at how dimwitted, sheltered, egoistic and naive my countrymen are. 


Of course, not all American university graduates are knuckleheads. But there are far too many of them that are. Maybe it's the schooling? As one of my favorite author's, Fred Reed wrote recently about US university education:


“Look, the US is in intellectual collapse. The average American university wouldn't qualify as a high-school in Japan. It's crazy. The whole world know it's crazy. But take out the Kims, Khans, Nguyens, Wangs, and Cohens, and what's left is Albania in 1750.”


Of course, the average American will have none of this when it comes to pointing out how low the mighty have fallen. Why? Well many of them will tell you; "Well, in spite of our problems, you've got to admit it: America is still the greatest country in the world."


Another writer, Mark Davis, adds:

"Self-glorification is a powerful narcotic. Every country has a state that promotes itself shamelessly, but since WW II Americans have been on a binge thanks to non-stop propaganda about how great that made "us". Many believe that 'It's hard to be humble when you're perfect in every way.' But the cognitive dissonance that is rising undermines this paradigm. It's hard to simultaneously believe that this is 'The best country in the world' and 'Everything is going in the crapper!' at the same time."

Now, hold that thought for a second... The one about cognitive dissonance. Americans are really bad when it comes to this. I think it's the schooling, or maybe it's the fluoride in the water. Or maybe it's too many fried and fatty foods (deep fried bacon covered hamburgers anyone?) I don't know. But there are A LOT of Americans who seem to have a problem in this area.

It's not often that I read something that really infuriates me. But usually, recently, if I do read it, it's something really cretinous written in the American media or said by some American who has a problem with cognitive dissonance. Incredibly, you see these people on American TV all the time so the general public hasn't a problem with parroting nonsense. Lately, I've been trying to ignore this trend, but last night I read something that was just simply unbelievable: It was, of course, an American guy regurgitating dim-witted detritus that he read in a newspaper.

I come from the most self-centered, conceited, ethno-centric nation in the world. And, no, I'm not talking about Japan. Japan may be Xenophobic, but no nation in the world can hold a candle to modern day American chauvinism, delusion and self-righteousness. Like I said, the Japanese may be Xenophobic but they are not bombing and killing brown skinned children on the other side of the world 24/7 like the USA is now doing in six Muslim countries... (As my friend Kevin Riley says, "Japan used to do that, but we grew out of it.")


Now, onto what made me so mad about how ignorant some Americans can be! (If, someday, they find out that the cause of this malady is 85% all of Americans suffer from dyslexia, then forgive me.) One of my friends (who lives in Japan) posted this picture on Facebook yesterday:

Underneath it, my friend wrote (now remember we're talking about someone who lives in the only country that has had atomic bombs dropped on it) :

To raise awareness of the horrific effects of war, I plan to place this photo of a dead child as my profile photo for the rest of January. He, and other innocents around him, were murdered in Pakistan by one of many US drone attacks internationally. According to one statistic, in Iraq alone, over 110,000 civilians were murdered by the US. Add to that deaths of innocent civilians in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and then add to that deaths authorized tacitly by the US through its sale of weapons, the toll of murders is mind boggling. And let's not get into the history of US aggression: Grenada and Vietnam are examples that come to mind.

Do you feel that the murder (and subsequent cover up by the US govt) of civilians is wrong and must stop now? If so, I encourage you to help raise awareness of these atrocities by making your profile picture that of this innocent child, for this month. Raising awareness can help save lives. You can help save a life.

Okay. So far, so good. Who wouldn't be against killing 2 year old kids? I mean, what's to complain about? That's what my friend posted. Pretty simple to understand. There were many comments and "likes." 


Except one. One commentator was an American male who completely misses the point. I couldn't believe how illogical his comments were. It would be okay if he were just your typical stupid Beavis & Butthead type, but I checked this guy's profile and he is a university educated man and the managing director of a company! 

Beavis and Butthead are not a problem. The problem is that 

there are 22 million American males with the same intelligence level.

I will write this guy's two comments below and let you read how absurd they are and mirrors of US government propaganda (there are still Americans who believe that stuff!?). It is astounding that a supposedly university educated American male can be so, well, so uninformed (I'm being polite, as you know). Before I pick his comments apart, here they are for you as written:

Muslims are not always labeled terrorist - this is the same type of misleading remark that people who are on the other side of the coin would make from their perspective. I find it more distressing that we don't make a bigger deal about the bombing that takes place in markets where innocent people are shopping and living their daily lives. There is more violence taking place between varying Muslim factions than are being killed in a military campaign. I was not in favor of going into Iraq from Day 1. But the regime in Afghanistan did protect the culprits from 9/11. Pakistan for a variety of reasons is trying to placate all sides and find it's own strategic advantages in Afghanistan. I find the photo sad but misleading as this is not a simple problem. The civilian casualties would be less if there were a more honorable government that truly cared about people more than power and money running Afghanistan..." 

He adds in his immediate follow up post:

"I looked this up a few minutes ago. "The reports make it clear that most civilians, by far, were killed by other Iraqis. Two of the worst days of the war came on Aug. 31, 2005, when a stampede on a bridge in Baghdad killed more than 950 people after several earlier attacks panicked a huge crowd, and on Aug. 14, 2007, when truck bombs killed more than 500 people in a rural area near the border with Syria." Excerpt from NYT...  the deaths are deplorable, but most of them do NOT come from U.S. military activities. If anything violence is likely to escalate after we leave."

This guy's comments are incredible. George Orwell, pick up the phone. America is calling you!... 


His first line, "A depressing photo indeed, but hardly fair to label this as murder"? Hardly fair to label this murder!? Hardly fair to label this murder!? An innocent child is killed by a missile fired by a robot drone and this isn't 'murder'!? What is it then? Oh? I see. It's an accident? If someone (like you or me) intentionally fires some projectile into someone's house and it kills a child, it's most definitely called "murder." But if the US government does it, it's not? OK. In that case, it's called "bringing democracy to them" or "collateral damage"? 

I think it's hardly fair to call this "flattening a house" or "killing family"

I'm sure this is the typical American who would say that, "World War II? Oh, dropping atomic bombs on civilian cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not murder... Because, of course, killing innocent people actually saved lives. Don't you know that?" 

All Americans seem to know this. Repeat after me: Killing actually saves lives. We need war to have peace. Slavery is freedom. Ignorance is strength.  

Yeah, sure. But this lady and her kid shouldn't have 

bombed Pearl Harbor in the first place.

The guy then goes on to write some more cockeyed litany, let's skip those (there's so much) and go to another one that really makes me want to slap my forehead with it's inanity and that is this one:

"I was not in favor of going into Iraq from Day 1. But the regime in Afghanistan did protect the culprits from 9/11."

Am I the only one who sees this glaring logical inconsistency? Let me get this straight: He was, "...not in favor of going into Iraq from Day 1"? Okay. I'm with him so far. Got it.... "But the regime in Afghanistan did protect the culprits from 9/11."??? 

Wait a minute (there goes that cognitive dissonance again!) clear-thinking people might ask "What's the connection between Iraq here and Afghanistan besides the letter 'a' in both names?" 


First off, that bit about the Afghan government protecting culprits of 9/11 is not true at all and US government propaganda. The government of Afghanistan said they would turn over Osama bin Laden to a third country if the USA would provide proof of his guilt, which the USA said they would do within 48 hours of the World Trade Center Attacks, but never did. And secondly, what does the regime in Afghanistan have to do with Iraq?

Oh, yeah. I forgot. We'll just conveniently forget that even president Bush admitted that 15 of the 19 supposed hijackers on 9/11 weren't Iraqi or Afghani, but from Saudi Arabia - a US ally. But, hey, what's the difference, right? Saudi, Iraqi, Afghani, all towel-heads and camel jockeys look the same, right? 

Japanese? Chinese? Korean? Asians?... Whatever! They all look the same, right? 

Damn! I'm pulling my hair out with this! This should be a total embarrassment to all Americans and the entire educational system of that country! How can American people be so benighted? It embarrasses even me!

This guy is so brainwashed; so wrong on every level and so full of propaganda that I don't know whether I want to strangle him or just slap him silly. It drives me crazy that people who think this way actually exist on this planet. I could feel the fire coming out of my ears. I posted back:

"The drone attacks have saved more lives than alternative courses of action"? That's total and complete nonsense. Why are US forces bombing people in countries that haven't threatened or attacked us? Get out of this imperialist "USA is world's police force" BS. What right does the USA have to be bombing these people? Or, do I infer, that you consider US lives more important than the lives of brown skinned kids in the middle east? The best course of action would be to kill no one and that is to LEAVE THOSE PEOPLE ALONE! Japan, Sweden, etc., etc. do not have terrorist attacks against them. Can't figure out why? Because we are not killing these people in their own backyards. Americans need to wake up and get out of this stupid mindset."

My friend who made the original post wrote to me and said that "...we probably can't convince (that person), so we need to plant the seed." 


My friend is a very diplomatic and nice person. I am not.


To all Americans who believe that we have a right and we are special in god's eyes; to all Americans who think that the United States has a duty to be the world's policeman, and to all other peoples who are apologists for American state-sponsored murder, I say:


"Realize this, about Americans from this American who escaped the madness; (about) my brothers and sisters back home; after 150 years of history of US imperialism, exceptionalism and indoctrination - as well as 40 ~ 50 years of conditioning in US government public schooling are not quick to change their beliefs and thinking because of a few exchanges with you or me on Facebook or other social media.

It does anger me greatly when Americans think we are "saving lives" by killing people. I know people don't read anymore but the the classic book, "1984" has a lot to say in it about that sort of Orwellian nonsense. That this gentleman fails to realize that when it comes out of his mouth is astounding... In today's America, "war is peace," etc… Americans should know all about this… Need an example? In Vietnam, an American major was famously quoted as saying, ""It became necessary to destroy the village in order to save it."

Americans are in serious denial. The end of the US empire is coming soon (not soon enough) and people like this American guy will be suffering greatly because, like an alcoholic, they fail to acknowledge the sickness. Tough love is all they deserve, if that.

Why Americans can actually think we have the right to be bombing people in foreign countries or have our navy buzzing the coast of nations on the other side of the world shows the madness of the typical American… I wonder how much Americans would like it if the Chinese were buzzing the Gulf of Mexico or, if Russian drones were killing American children and then Russians claimed that "the drones actually saved lives because of we didn't use them, our soldiers would die"?

Americans who claim this sort of thing are idiots, or at best, liars and it should be pointed out for what it is (for their own good, at least). I do not take kindly to this sort of justification of killing children and think that when people do try to justify it, they should be put on the spot for it.

Killing children, no matter what the reason, is not necessary, cannot be justified and is simply murder.


To think that some Americans actually believe that "killing people by using drones actually saves lives" shows the depths of deprivation and lack of humanity that far too many in today's America show. There is no hope for those people and that country.


There are many Americans who have been waking up and realizing the truth in recent years. But, they haven't a good future in that nation and the awake ones know it.


It is too late.... America is over..."

Later I calm down and unruffle my feathers... Now, dear reader, you know something that really infuriates me: US state sponsored murder of innocent children overseas 24/7 and American citizen's rationalization of it. 


But it's hardly fair to label it as murder, isn't it? And, you've got to admit it; America is still the greatest country in the world.

People Leaving the USA? The Trickle Becoming a Flood? It's Like 1939 Again.

I had many reasons for leaving the USA and moving overseas. One of the big reasons was, because of traveling outside of the USA a lot, especially in university days, I began to realize that the story (brainwashing) about the USA being the "Greatest country on earth" (that we were all exposed to throughout our youth in school) wasn't exactly true. 


The propaganda involving American exceptionalism and how "we are different (better)" certainly wasn't true either.

Many people's of the world are proud of their countries (rightly so) and think they are living in the best country in the world... I've met lots of those outside the USA. Before I had met these people, I was under the impression that everyone was desperately trying to find a way to escape their country and get to the USA... 

Maybe trying to escape to the USA was the dream of most people during World War II. It's not that way today. In fact, it's definitely become the opposite of that today; American people are trying to leave the USA. 

I notice that, over this last year or two, this trickle of folks escaping from the USA has gotten bigger and bigger. Of course, the MSM doesn't report it. MSM only reports about important things like what kind of spray tans the stars use, but the fact that entire web sites and blogs, (like my favorites, International Man, or Dollar Vigilante) as well as many other online and offline publications that have popped up supporting expatriation or diversifying out of the dollar, shows you what I told people in the early 2000's: People who can read the writing on the wall are getting out of the USA.

I warned people about that just after the Invasion of Iraq. My friends scoffed. I doubt that they scoff anymore (or maybe they are still clueless or in denial).


Anyone who studied any sufficient amount of history should have seen the parallels of what happens to a country that wages wars of aggression to what that means for the domestic populace. I certainly wasn't the only one who saw it coming. My example was the historical record of the smart Jewish people and some wealthy and educated people leaving Germany and Europe before 1939. By Sept. 1, 1939, even those who wanted to leave, couldn't.


I knew what was going to happen. Many others did too. That the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were a precursor to today problems in the USA should have come to no surprise to anyone. Of course these types of foreign adventures and wars of aggression lead to a collapse of society; they always have throughout the course of human history. To think that these incidents and wars would not lead to the current US debt, economic problems and a loss of freedom is foolish. To think that foreign wars would not lead to a suppression of the people and a rise of the police state is to ignore history... These economic problems and despair, and other recent examples such as the police beating of OWS protesters were completely predictable (they'll get much worse too!) Or, even this wonderful tidbit about how well life in America is today from Reuters this surprises no one:

A shopper pepper-sprayed other bargain hunters and robbers shot at customers to steal their Black Friday purchases, marring the start of the U.S. holiday shopping season, according to authorities.

Up to 20 people were injured after a woman used pepper spray at a Walmart in Los Angeles to get an edge on her competitors. In a second incident, off-duty officers in North Carolina used pepper spray to subdue rowdy shoppers waiting for electronics.

A man was in critical but stable condition after being shot by robbers in a parking lot outside a Walmart In San Leandro, California, at 1:50 a.m. (0950 GMT), Sergeant Mike Sobek said.

The man was in a group of men headed for their car after shopping when robbers confronted them and a fight ensued, Sobek said. The man's shopping companions held down one of the robbers until police arrived and took him into custody.

What's the problem here, officer? Boys will be boys. If you guys can pepper-spray peaceful protesters then why can't this lady pepper-spray a pack of insane and possibly dangerous shoppers out buying crap? I mean, think about it, anyone who would get up early and line up at a Walmart to buy cheap made in China junk must be insane and dangerous... At least dangerous to themselves!


I can write this sort of critique of the USA today, but even 7 years ago, when I wrote about how bad the USA was becoming, in America is Bankrupt, I received lots of hate mail and even a few death threats. Today, from seeing so many different writings and publications on the Internet along the same lines as what I wrote about, talking about USA expatriation is no longer laughed at, but seriously considered by those who matter.


In fact, the window has almost closed, folks. If you can get out now, you should. You won't be able to so easily in the near future.

Can you name something which they all have in common?
If you said that they are all top writers or speakers about free markets and/or precious metals you'd be correct. But that isn't their only similarities.
They also all have expatriated from their country of origin. After having read seven articles in a row I realized that every person I was reading has already defected from the USSA or other similar western countries.

Like I said, the smart people have gotten out. 


It is not unusual to write about these things today. It was risky to do so seven years ago... But when I first decided to move here to Japan in the early 1980's, there was no one that I could tell my fears to... In those days, if you had told anyone that you believe that the USA was way overstepping its authority and turning into the new Nazi state, American people would have thought you were nuts. 


Probably most foreigners, the world over, would have just nodded their head and said, "What took you so long to figure that out?"


To recall an experience when I was working at a company office before I came to the USA allows me to exemplify one case of just how twisted the modern American mindset has become. This is the case of the US invasion of Grenada. For me, this was a quick preview of what was coming for the USA. I didn't like it at all.

Ronald Reagan was the president of the USA. He had won by a landslide against Jimmy Carter in 1980. The US invaded Grenada in 1983. 

In 1981, I had started working at a Prudential district office as a salesman / broker. The other salesmen were nice guys and most of them were typically at least 20 ~ 30 years older than me and many of them were ex-military men. 

One day when I came to the office they were drinking and having a celebration. I walked in and it was a happy scene.  A few dozens guys drinking and eating and having several "toasts" to whatever it was they were toasting. When they saw me they shouted, "Mike! Come on in! Have a drink! We're celebrating!"

I grabbed a drink and was very happy to join the party! "Wow! Drinking at work? Cool!" I then asked, "What are we celebrating?"

To which several guys smiled and said to me, "We won a war!"

"What war?" I replied. 

A very nice older guy named Jim Cline said, "We invaded Grenada and won a war! The Vietnam war is over! We've won!"


At first, I was happy. But then it dawned on me... "What the hell are we doing invading some Caribbean nation and half these people don't even know where that is?"


The MSM was reporting that we invaded that island nation to save US university students... Then the story was something about 5,000 Cuban regular army on the island building an airport... There were so many excuses. (sounds like Iraq?)


Later, I went to the public library and found out some truths. First off, if you are Cuban, everyone is in the army so 5,000 "Cuban regulars" means about 600 Cuban soldiers, their wives and their 8 kids. The University students were never in any danger and that the UK and several other nations severely protested the US action as US imperialism (Nah! Couldn't be! We're the good guys, remember?) and that a US puppet government was put into power. So much for being the good guys.

While the invasion enjoyed broad public support in the United States, and received support from some sectors in Grenada from local groups who viewed the post-coup regime as illegitimate, it was criticized by the United Kingdom, Canada and the United Nations General Assembly, which condemned it as "a flagrant violation of international law".


I remember thinking that everything the US media was telling us about this naked aggression was a complete lie. I remember thinking, 


"Hey! We're supposed to be the Land of the Free! We're supposed to be helping people and spreading democracy (and I don't mean from the barrel of a gun). We're not supposed to be invading other countries!!!"

The writing was on the wall for me. I hated my job and, because I studied television and media in university I understood how this brainwashing business worked (thanks Mr. Al Miller). I could see what kind of right wing America we were heading for. I was surprised that no one else saw it coming, it seemed to me.

I was still young, cocky and believed I could do anything I wanted. 

And I wanted to be free. I left the US police state. Now there are many following. 

I do feel vindicated. I feel sorry for those in the USA who fail to see what's coming. I am still, to this day, astounded that even university educated people (like my family) in the USA support the vast US empire and military industrial complex. Their day of reckoning is almost here.

NOTE: Thanks to T. Foley for part of this article's inspiration. T graduated from a top class California University at Santa Barbara. I used to think he was an intelligent guy... That is until he was totally "Gung-ho!" for the Iraq invasion and actually told me before that fiasco started, "We'll be in and out in 4 weeks!" ... I totally lost respect for him and the rest of the "Gung-ho!" people he associated with then. Here were people who were university educated and vehemently anti-Vietnam war just  a few years before, but then, at that time, they suddenly became cheerleaders for the US military machine? Extraordinary!


Proof that the US education system has totally gone down the shit can when university educated people cannot see through the lies and propaganda techniques developed in the late 1930's by the Nazi's (use of "Bandwagon") and identified by the Institute of Propaganda Analysis in the USA... I'll even bet these guys don't know that the Germans invaded Poland in 1939 because the Poles attacked Germany in the Gleiwitz incident first! Nazi Germany was merely defending itself from "terrorism"... Ahem...


Not only are these people tools of the state, they are now reaping what they sowed.

Japanese Insurance Companies Stop Payments for Jews, Catholics, Cross-dressers, Left-Handed People, Club Members, Punks and Yakuza

Well, they haven't stopped life insurance payments for Jews, Catholics, Cross-dressers, Left-Handed People, Club Members and Punks... Yet. But they have stopped payments to some families because of their associations, namely to so-called yakuza and their associates. This is outrageous and a crime in plain view.


I relish the idea that I can cop from the old police detective TV shows when I say, "Something smells bad about this."

Both are criminal organizations. But only one bombs and kills

innocent people 24/7 in the Middle East.

The recent crackdown on the Yakuza in Japan is not motivated by any recent domestic developments or problems on the home front. I submit to you, dear reader, that this crack down is motivated partly by US government pressure and is just another of many scams being perpetrated by our government to steal money to help pay for the financial disaster that the western governments (Japan included) have engineered that is about to befall on all of us regular people in the working class. On top of that, it is just another boondoogle for a government agency (the Japanese police) to try to justify massive public tax expenditures and to try to avoid budget cutbacks next year... 

US Government Hypocrisy Showing True Colors

This Yakuza crack down is a side show and a diversion. As with all overt and covert government wars and operations, propaganda is used as the enemy must be dehumanized and discredited in order to cover for government actions that restrict freedom and our lives. This case is no different. It is a diversionary attempt to get the public eye off the real issues at hand and to create a distraction so that the public does not pay attention to the real problems of our country.

At the end of August 2011, the Japanese entertainment world was shocked and aghast when one of the most recognized and famous TV entertainers, Shinsuke Shimada abruptly retired from TV due to allegations of having ties with the underworld... Specifically speaking, the Yakuza.


This crack down in Japan on the mafia in Japan seems very timely as it doesn't seem to be motivated purely by a domestic agenda. It has an extra topping, so to speak. I accuse the USA of, once again, blowing smoke and interfering with Japan's domestic issues. Dear reader should take note that this crackdown has an uncanny timing beginning this year (with Japanese government credit downgrades) and with a US government crackdown that began with pres. USA Attacks Yakuza! War Breaks Out!  


So the USA, the world's biggest criminal organization decides that the Yakuza are a threat? Really? I'd care to debate that issue. I don't think in the entire history of the Yakuza could they have killed or robbed nearly as many people as the United States does on a daily basis.

Need examples? How about bombing and murdering people all over the world since the end of World War II and how about robbing their own people through the coercion of taxation and debt since 1913?

Or, more recently, another of many examples; the murder of Libyan people and their leader whilst stealing their national wealth under the under the auspices of a UN action to "protect the civilian population"? Please refer to:

Is there any one of us who is so naive to think that the USA has gone into Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya; is using drones to assassinate people in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen; and, more recently, has sent more US troops into Africa so that those people can be "free" and to help "protect them"!? I hope not.

When has the USA EVER gone to war to help protect the rights of dark skinned people or the rights of the individual? No. The USA goes to war for the control of resources and to take national treasures. 

That's what empires do. That's what they've always done. That's what they will always will do. To think otherwise is just plain stupid.

As I have said, the sudden war with the Yakuza seems to be driven by US politics and economics. The timing is too great. I believe the US sees a chance to steal or at least control money that they think they can take from the Yakuza. So, of course, they have to have a media campaign to vilify the Yakuza. It's a pathetic campaign at that. That the Japanese government cooperates with this crap is just another sign that the current Japanese government, in spite of paying lip service to the notion of standing up to the USA is just another in a line of many lap dogs.

Let me deconstruct one such example of this tabloid sensationalism and piss-poor reporting and, well, downright lying.

The Christian Science Monitor, never one to not be in the front row screaming for any foreign US military adventure, is also at the top of the cheerleaders section for this recent attack on people who do have the right to association. Please refer to this July 27 article from CS Monitor: 

Japan's Yakuza Mafia Faces a Crackdown:

Recent scandals over illegal gambling among sumo players and ringside VIP tickets for Japan's notorious yakuza gangsters have enveloped Japan's venerated sport of sumo and fascinated the public.

My god! Sumo? Scandals involving illegal gambling!? Ringside VIP tickets!? What'll we ever do? I won't bore dear reader with how asinine this is except to say that, in Japan, as with the USA, gambling is illegal, except if it is run by the government (such as lotteries) or backed by companies that make massive campaign contributions such as horse racing or casinos. Scandals over ringside tickets for the boring sport of Sumo? Heavens.

NOTE: If you've never made a bet in your life or paid a premium for that, say, Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets (or would have if you could have to get better seats) then stop reading right now.

But these are mere sideshows to what is roiling Japan's gangsters, many observers say. 

Yeah. What is roiling the Yakuza, probably, is the police, suddenly and with no reason, obstructing business.

NOTE: If you think we have a government and pay taxes to them so that they can control who buys and sells Sumo tickets and at what price, or that our government should be here to legislate morality such as gambling and drinking, you are in the wrong country. North Korea or Saudi Arabia is probably best for you.

After decades of unspoken agreements between police and yakuza that have allowed organized crime to operate with relative impunity in everything from gambling on sport and illegal casinos to human trafficking and prostitution, the national police are cracking down on Japan's top yakuza gang, energized not only by the embarrassment over the sumo debacle but also by the emergence of a dynamic new National Police Agency (NPA) chief last year who wants to curtail the broad influence of yakuza in society.

Yes. It was business as usual... Until recently.... Those Yakuza bad guys! I know they've been bothering me and everyone else I know everyday since I've been living here. How can any of us sleep at night? Wow! What a litany of bad stuff. Let's see. What was that list again?

Well, I'm sorry Mr. Nazi, but, seriously, as adults, I think adult people are generally old enough and responsible enough to decide and can gamble all they want when and where they want. Sometimes I don't mind a little Black Jack but I usually leave because I get clobbered real quick. I'm not really a gambler, but am not against anyone having a little enjoyment. Why the government is legislating casinos and gambling is beyond their reach of power as originally set up in the constitution. And prostitution? You kidding me? When two consenting adults wish to partake in sex, it's none of anyone's else's damn business!

But! Human trafficking!? Wow! That's another story! I didn't know that the Yakuza were said to be involved with human trafficking? This has to stop! Well, they must be doing human trafficking since the CS Monitor says they are, right? Let's click on that link at the venerated Christian Science Monitor and get more information on that! 

I clicked on the link for an article entitled: View From the Streets. How the Eliot Ness of Japan's Drug World Gets the Job Done.  But you know what? I couldn't find one single word about human trafficking. Nope. Not one. I did find a fluff story about some cops named Umeda, Kanda, and Shimada and their neighborhood and how they busted people doing and selling drugs but not a word about human trafficking.

Bullsh*t! Don't believe me. Go to the link and check for yourself. I can't find any mention of this human trafficking.

Finally, considering the above, and this next piece of evidence, here is why I believe that this entire affair stems from a blatant US government attempt to steal monies (now possibly forcing the Japanese government to cooperate along side even more so than originally envisioned). This has everything to do with propping up our failed economies and banking institutions (caused malfeasance and corruption) and our government hand in helping those institutions ruin our economy.

In this small and completely banal piece of evidence I want to submit to you, lies a piece of a larger puzzle, in my opinion. It is a totally and completely illegal action on the part of insurance companies in Japan. Please refer to: 

No Life Insurance for Yakuza

TOKYO (majirox news) — Life insurance companies will include a provisional clause in their guidelines which allows them to deny coverage to the yakuza, Japan’s organized crime groups, according to life insurance industry officials.

The Japanese insurers will need approval for the provision by Japan’s Financial Service Agency (FSA), which they are expected to receive. Once the provision is approved, it will be implemented immediately.

The clause will allow insurance companies to cancel payments for injuries or death if the person is a member of a crime group. In other words, the insurer will have the right to refuse to cover anyone who belongs to a gang, which is involved in fraud or other criminal activities. They could even refuse to cover a person with a tattoo that is recognized as a symbol of gang membership.

In addition, insurance policy holders or beneficiaries will not be able to collect life insurance if it is learned that they are involved in organized crime. 

This is completely outrageous. Regardless of what you think of the Yakuza, this cannot be allowed to stand. What this is really saying is that the insurance companies can deny payment or cancel insurance merely because of association or even guilt by association. Even if death is completely unrelated to that association. Even death by cancer, any disease and even old age!


So just because someone is alleged to have gangland ties, when they die a natural death or death by disease or something like that, their children are not allowed to get their life insurance proceeds? Well, hell, why don't we just imprison the children for the crimes of the parents too!

There are so many problems with this, I don't know where to begin! What about a young man who foolishly got a Yakuza tattoo at 20 but left the group at 25 and became an upstanding citizen for the rest of his life? Do they deny payments to his children when he is killed in a car accident or some completely random accident that has nothing to do with anything except that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

And what sort of precedent does this set? Will they be able to suddenly change policies (read: contracts) and deny payments to your family because, say, you worked in construction? Or the airlines industry? Or were a member of a racing club?

Laugh now, but remember the words of Martin Niemoller:

Then they came for the trade unionists,

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

There will be many who say that I am over reacting and that this is just an issue with the Yakuza and the police. I submit that they are wrong. This has to do with US government pressure on our lives and the way we want to live and everything to do with Wall Street banksterism.


This is a war between rivals gangs. The biggest and most deadly of those rival gangs is the US government who has probably killed more people all over the world in the last 48 hours than the Yakuza have killed in their entire existence.

As the US government is at war with (and bombing innocent civilians) at least 5 nations in the mid-east, about to start a war in Pakistan, in Syria, and, later Iran, and in confrontations with even her own people today, this has nothing to do with the Yakuza bothering the public but has everything to do with the US government and the status quo doing everything it can to keep our casino economy rolling for as long as possible, wherever possible. 

It most certainly was not the Yakuza who caused the 2008 stock market crash and it most certainly wasn't the Yakuza who has caused 20 + years of severe Japanese economic problems caused by government initiated easy credit, easy money and propping up zombie banks.

Anyone who cannot see what the true motivation of cracking down on the Yakuza (as a symptom of a much bigger problem - and not with the Yakuza) has not been paying attention and watches too much TV... Which, by the way, is exactly what the government wants you to do.


Don't be fooled. See the bigger picture. Who are the real criminals here?
