Rant: What I Dislike About Many Greens and Environmentalists - Understanding Human Motivations

Let me start off by saying that we need to protect the environment. We need to keep the beaches, rivers, lakes and land clean. We need to take care of ourselves and our earth for our children and their children and their children's children. But we also need to wake up and see what is really important in our lives.

Snowing like crazy in Tokyo... Global warming, don't you know?

Now to the point: I'm really fed up with self-righteous militant and nearly militant Greens and Environmentalists. I am sick and tired of their ignorant and ill considered ideas. I am really disgusted by their "holier than thou" attitude and thinking that they are always right and you are always wrong. They are just as bad as religious zealots: I don't mind someone having their religion and their beliefs. Great! Do as they wish. But do not try to push these beliefs on me or other people. I really don't like their abrasive and antagonistic attitudes.

I also wonder just how stupid these people can be. On one hand they will complain about the government being completely corrupt and in bed with big business when it comes to things like nuclear accidents and BP oil spills... Or banking corruption and the destruction of the working class... Yet, on the other hand, they want the government to tax us so that they can take care of the environment? Astounding!

This is a government, in Japan's case for exapmple, that can't even handle the bookkeeping properly and now has the country on the ledge of bankruptcy and people want to give them more money!? That would be like handing care of your household finances to a crack addict and expecting that he will take care of things properly.

Today it is snowing and it is snowing hard. This is at least the sixth time this year it has snowed in Tokyo. This is the hardest and deepest snow I have ever seen here. In the 27 years I have been here it has never snowed more than twice in any winter. Most winters it doesn't snow at all; and if it does, the snow melts immediately upon hitting the ground. But this is at least six times in one year! To illustrate the rarity of this more, just one month ago, on Jan. 24, it snowed more than 4 cm in Tokyo and that was the most snow in 6 years. Today's snow is much more than that!

Thousands of people have died in Europe, almost 100 in Japan, because of this winters cold and snow... It is the coldest winter in nearly 30 years... But is it a fluke? Nope. Just two years ago, they said the winter of 2009 ~ 2010 was devastatingly cold. This year, 2012, is the death of the Global Warming Cult. R.I.P.

The rule of thumb is that if there is a crisis and the government comes along and says, "pay us more money and we'll take care of it for you." Then a wise person (and I do mean wise and intelligent experienced and thoughtful person) would automatically become suspicious. Trust me. Over 3 decades in the mass media and many years as a station news director makes me much more of an expert on that than any university professor.

Trust that everything you see or hear is told to you by someone who has a motivation for it. If it is on TV or media or in publications, then you can pretty much be safe in assuming that there is a strong profit motivation. If it comes from any government or quasi-government source (that includes your government, the UN, the IPCC, etc.) then you can be 100% sure there is a profit motivation. Motivation is the key word. If you do not understand this simple concept then educate yourself right now with this short video. It's a simple course in Praxeology, the science of understanding the purposeful behavior of human beings:

Yesterday I posted about some Japanese kids terrorizing some monkeys in a zoo. In Japan, this didn't make national news. Please refer to: Kids Acting Like Animals Have to Apologize to Animals:

It also shows a good thing about Japan: Even though these kids were drinking underage and throwing fireworks, nobody claims that stricter laws need to be made for firework sales or alcohol sales.

Everyone knows that these kids were just causing trouble. People in Japan generally don't think about passing laws to try to make people into good human beings.

My point was that, in the west, people are confused with the role of government and personal responsibility. One intelligent reader also pointed out that, had this been in the west, it would have hit national news with an outpouring of sympathy for these animals and a public outcry for severe punishment meted out:

If this happened in the UK or US, the response would have been tremendous, and out of all proportion compared to the effects.

Since the animals were at a zoo, and therefore famous; the sentencing would be much more severe for the perpetrators, because the media would drum up the war chant of “murder the marauders who caused mayhem to the monkeys!” Plus in our modern era, what else is there in life, but to become famous? To be blunt, how else could a judge or attorney become famous, but to listen to the mob, and give them what they want?

In a similar city, there would probably be hundreds of poor homeless people that nobody cares about, and who would've wound up eating out of rubbish skips, and sleeping under bridges...

The militant Greens will gladly destroy people, property, business and lives to save the earth... They wouldn't lift a finger to save a human life. Here's an example: When making a program satire of the entire Global Warming Debate (being neither pro nor con) in 2007, an irate listener called the broadcast station and threatened to,

"Come down to the broadcast station and set it on fire and kill everyone inside!"

I laughed and told him that,

"Please come along and try. I will be waiting for you alongside the local police and the fire department."

We never heard from him again. That was in Tokyo. Like I said, this has been one of the coldest winters in a long time... I wonder if he is still thinking about running around and setting buildings on fire? If he is, it's probably just to stay warm.

There are many, far too many of these militant (may I say frickin' crazy) people running around. They will violently protest the killing of 600 non-endangered species of dolphins in Japan (because, as the reader commented they are "famous" - and animals are "cute") but I don't see them protesting their own countries involvement with US and NATO bombing and the starvation tactics and killing of millions of Iraqi people and children...

Or for another example, there are people who are taking dog and cat food to the Fukushima disaster area to feed strays. I don't get it. There's 400,000 people there with lives shattered. Thousands of children have lost parents and siblings. Tens of thousands are still live in temporary shelters and these people are spending their time helping stray animals?

If you think that organizations like PETA do a good job, think again. Read this:
PETA kills more than 95% of all animals in its care.

Where are these twisted people's priorities? (Watch the video again: Money).

I am not pleased about this killing of pets or dolphins either, but instead of going and fighting about that, I have, for example, thousands of children with incurable diseases like deadly cancer that need help in my back yard right now. Pardon me for having twisted priorities but I think I'll spend my time helping handicapped and crippled and terminally ill kids... I can't stop people from feeding the animals or pigeons in the park, but I have to wonder where their priorities are.

If you are going to talk the talk, walk the walk...

People have got to start thinking with their analytical minds, if they have any left. There was a time, several years ago, I was having a discussion with an extremely confused German friend. He insisted that,

"We need the government to make rules outlawing guns."

I completely disagreed. He then added,

"If the government doesn't make laws outlawing guns, then crazy and dangerous people will have guns!"

"You mean, like they do now?" I retorted.

If you believe that guns cause crimes and murders then you must believe that cameras cause child pornography.

Personally, I don't think so. (By the way, Canada has many more guns per capita than the USA and does not have a gun murder problem so don't tell me that the USA problem is because of guns.)

Like, I said, people need to open their eyes and stop taking the propaganda they hear and see as gospel truth...

The best thing would be for people to start thinking for themselves. But that might be asking for too much.

NOTE: It warms my heart to see other writers who think along the same lines as I do. Here's one of my favorites with an article that just came out. His name is James Delingpole: Why I am so rude to Warmists

Here's a TV report about today's snow:

More Global Warming Kills Japanese People With Massive Snow and Storms, Death Toll of Japan's Winter Storm Now 83 - No End to Storm in Sight

Well, here we are folks, the terrible snow storm that I reported on exactly one week ago shows no sign of letting up and now at least 83 people in Japan have died.

Agence France-Presse reports in: Japan braces for more snow as death toll hits 83

TOKYO–Northern Japan was bracing for more heavy snow Friday as severe winter weather continues to cause misery across a large part of the country, claiming at least 83 lives so far.
Forecasters were predicting up to 60 centimeters (24 inches) of snow would fall in parts of the northernmost island of Hokkaido and in the north of Japan’s main island of Honshu over 24 hours.
In Sukayu, in Aomori prefecture, where the temperature dropped to minus 12.8 degrees Celsius (10 degrees Fahrenheit) on Friday, more than four meters of snow is already lying on the ground, with more forecast.
In Hijiori in northwestern Yamagata prefecture, where the average annual snowfall is 2.6 meters, there is already four meters of snow.

The snow has extended over a wide area of the country with Kasumi in Hyogo prefecture north of Kyoto getting 82 centimeters nearly seven times its annual average of 12 centimeters.
Since November when snow started to fall, 60 people have died as they were removing snow from roofs or roads.
Heavy loads of snow falling from buildings or other structures have killed 15 people and four more have died in avalanches, including at a popular hot springs resort, the disaster management agency said.
The extreme weather, which has filled evening news reports for weeks, has also claimed four other lives, the government agency said.

Video quick translation:

This is the most snow the Japan Sea side of Japan has seen in several years. THe old woman being interviewed says it's the most snow in decades. In Hokkaido, Aomori and Yamagata it's the most snow they've had in seven years. In Toyama, it snowed 30 centimeters overnight and now has had 80 centimeters which is the most snow in 16 years. Not only that, though, according to the weather reports, these areas are looking to be hit with another 30 ~ 50 centimeters of snow in the next few days.

Yamagata has been hit with 91 cm of snow. The most in 31 years.

I must say, as a person who works with major Japanese broadcasting stations, the most interesting thing about all this has been the sudden ending of commercials and station spots talking about how the broadcasting stations are tying up with this company (or that) to fight against Global Warming... Of course, it wouldn't do to be broadcasting commercials on TV or the radio that say things like,

"Stop the Global Warming!"

When people are freezing their a*sses off and dying. I'll bet those people in northern Japan would love to have some of that Global Warming right now.

By the way, that Kyoto statistic is interesting, Japan has been keeping consistent and competent weather records since the early 1950s. That 82 centimeters in Kyoto at seven times the annual average is the highest it's been in over 35 years.... And there's no sign of the snow letting up.

We could be heading for the worst winter in 30 or 40 years for Japan.

Global Warming Strikes Again! Canals in Venice, Italy Freeze Over - Worst Snow in 27 Years

Just to show, once again, that this current cold streak that is hitting Japan - and hard, is not localized to this country (as I pointed out before).

Here's some news from Venice Italy. The canals have frozen over!

Canals of Venice frozen over

ABC News has the story: Wolves scavenge as Italians take shelter from biting cold

Wolves scavenged in isolated snow-covered villages, the canals in Venice froze over, and the death toll rose to 30 as freezing weather continued across Italy on Tuesday.
Snow kept falling in the north of Italy, with temperatures dropping to minus 25 degrees Celsius in Marcesina on the shores of Lake Garda, and there was black ice in Calabria and Sardegna in the south.
....

Life in the centre of Rome returned to normal after days of chaos in the wake of the heaviest snowfall in 27 years, but schools remained closed and thousands in the surrounding region were still without electricity or heating.
The capital's main shopping thoroughfare, the Via del Corso in the historic centre, was closed to traffic after fears vast ice-sheets could slide off roofs and plummet onto passing pedestrians and vehicles.
Biting temperatures and widespread snow and ice have caused up to 500 million euros ($610 million) worth of damages to Italy's agriculture sector so far, the Confagricoltura association said.
The cold snap is forecast to continue at least until the weekend.

Global Warming Strikes Again! Japan and Europe Snowed Under with Record Cold and Snow!

As everyone knows, Global Warming causes the earth to get warmer and colder!

The nation experienced severe cold weather Friday with temperatures dropping to record lows at 38 locations in the morning, the Meteorological Agency said. From Tohoku to Kyushu, temperatures hit their lowest records in 16 prefectures, including the town of Kusu in Oita Prefecture, where temperature fell to minus 14.7 degrees. In Mashiki, Kumamoto Prefecture, it was minus 8.4. Of 927 observation points, over 90 percent, or 874 sites, marked temperatures below zero early Friday, the agency said. The lowest figure observed was minus 32.6 in Esashi, Hokkaido. The agency said the cold air mass that led to blizzards in several Sea of Japan coastal areas has now passed over the archipelago....

"Based on our forecast, February's temperatures nationwide will be lower" than in normal years, Ishihara said. "We project low temperatures will continue through March and April, but excluding Hokkaido and the Tohoku region."

In Japan's Shiga Prefecture, the snow was so bad that the government Self-Defense Forces (SDF) were called in to help with rescue and snow removal work. It was the first time in 31 years that the SDF's help had been requested. In many areas the snow was as high as 3 meters (about 9ft 8 inches deep).

That it is so damned cold in Japan with freezing cold hitting new records should be no surprise to anyone. Extreme weather conditions have savaged the earth since the beginning of time. In fact, when you judge the history of the earth at over 4 million years with the time it’s been since man started keeping records (since 1878) to assume that we can judge the weather by computer modeling based on "assumptions" is probably nonsense.
Who was it who said, “You know what happens when you assume? You make an ass out of you and me” (assume = ass + u + me).
To show, again that this is not a local phenomenon, here is extreme cold weather in Europe, continuing, as the Daily Mail Reports:
 • Capital of Italy usually has moderate temperatures but Colosseum is closed over ice fears
 • Military on alert in the UK as temperatures drop and heavy snow fall is predicted
 • Over 11,000 villagers in Serbia remain trapped by heavy snow and blizzards
 • Temperatures across eastern Europe plummet to -30c amid fears of more deaths
 • Death toll in Ukraine now stands at 101, with 38 people being killed by cold last night

NOTE: In Switzerland, are always measured lower temperatures. Some places experienced the coldest February night for over 30 yearshttp://bit.ly/yPhrLN

Japan Has Heaviest Snow in Five Years - At Least 52 Dead - One Steel Bridge Collapsed

The news about the worst winter storm to hit Japan in five years with a still rising death toll has hit Japan.

Photos taken within last 24 hours

Heavy snowfall has crippled much of Japan’s western coast, killing more than 50 people and injuring nearly 600. The worst snowstorm in six years has dumped more than 10 feet of snow in the hardest-hit regions, causing at least one bridge to collapse and forcing school closures across the region.

Western Japan has been battered by one snowstorm after another since the beginning of the year, overwhelming cash-strapped cities struggling to keep up with cleanup efforts.  In the Niigata Prefecture, officials said nearly half of their 30 cities had run out of funds set aside snow removal. Further north in the Aomori Prefecture, the government had already applied for additional funds from Tokyo, after draining its budget.

The important point to note is that this fierce winter storm is not just limited to Japan. It is stretching across all of Asia, China, Korea and Eastern Europe.

In the Ukraine, the cold was 33 degrees centigrade below zero (-27.4 F) the coldest it's been in six years. More than 40 people have died there along with Eastern Europe and the cold weather strikes. In Ukraine, which killed more than 40 people. In Poland, at least 20 are dead; in Rumania 14 have died and there are 8 dead in Bulgaria as well as deaths reported in Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina. At least 80 people have died and authorities in Europe, as well as Japan, expect more cold and snow in the coming days.

That huge snowstorms hit all across the world in wintertime should not be a surprise nor even newsworthy. But this coming just after the snowstorms in the USA and now today's storm in East Europe and Asia, should cause those of us who can remember what we were told more than ten years ago to scoff.

To refresh your memory, let us not forget the Monday March 20, 2000 article that ran in the Independent UK that was entitled: Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past:

Britain's winter ends tomorrow with further indications of a striking environmental change: snow is starting to disappear from our lives.

The first two months of 2000 were virtually free of significant snowfall in much of lowland Britain, and December brought only moderate snowfall in the South-east. It is the continuation of a trend that has been increasingly visible in the past 15 years: in the south of England, for instance, from 1970 to 1995 snow and sleet fell for an average of 3.7 days, while from 1988 to 1995 the average was 0.7 days. London's last substantial snowfall was in February 1991.

Global warming, the heating of the atmosphere by increased amounts of industrial gases, is now accepted as a reality by the international community.

Average temperatures in Britain were nearly 0.6°C higher in the Nineties than in 1960-90, and it is estimated that they will increase by 0.2C every decade over the coming century. Eight of the 10 hottest years on record occurred in the Nineties. (emphasis mine)

However, the warming is so far manifesting itself more in winters which are less cold than in much hotter summers(again emphasis mine) According to Dr David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become "a very rare and exciting event".

"Children just aren't going to know what snow is," he said.

Oh really? Interestingly enough, just two days ago, without much fanfare, the the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia released information that showed no global warming in 15 years. Some people will claim "cherry picking results" but I wonder how measuring the nineties (ten years) versus the last 15 years wouldn't also be considered said "Cherry picking"?

Intelligent people on either side of the argument (believers and disbelievers) should like to have an answer to that question, I would imagine.

Forget Global Warming - Met Office and East Anglia Climatic Research Unit Show New Data: No Warming in 15 Years

Recent revelations on the weather have cast serious doubt on the Man-Made Global Warming theory or even if the earth is warming at all. In fact, new data just released from the London Met Office show no warming in 15 years.

The Daily Mail has the story:

The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.

The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.

Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997. (emphasis mine)

Abraham Hondius: Looking down the river to Southwark Cathedral. The Thames is frozen in winter and people are walking on it. Signed and dated 1677.

Couple this news with the recent report on Jan 19, 2012 of the coldest day globally in ten years (something that warmists claimed would never happen again after 2003... They also claimed in the year 2000 that snow would be "a thing of the past by 2010) along with the recent Wall Street Journal report of 16 of the world's top scientists also going public to denounce AGW polemic, and you have a Climate science in disarray.

More Today on the Collapse of Global Warming Belief

This just out today and signed by sixteen of the world's top scientists.

Here's a snippet from Wall Street Journal:

In September, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Ivar Giaever, a supporter of President Obama in the last election, publicly resigned from the American Physical Society (APS) with a letter that begins: "I did not renew [my membership] because I cannot live with the [APS policy] statement: 'The evidence is incontrovertible: Global warming is occurring. If no mitigating actions are taken, significant disruptions in the Earth's physical and ecological systems, social systems, security and human health are likely to occur. We must reduce emissions of greenhouse gases beginning now.' In the APS it is OK to discuss whether the mass of the proton changes over time and how a multi-universe behaves, but the evidence of global warming is incontrovertible?"
In spite of a multidecade international campaign to enforce the message that increasing amounts of the "pollutant" carbon dioxide will destroy civilization, large numbers of scientists, many very prominent, share the opinions of Dr. Giaever. And the number of scientific "heretics" is growing with each passing year. The reason is a collection of stubborn scientific facts.
Perhaps the most inconvenient fact is the lack of global warming for well over 10 years now. This is known to the warming establishment, as one can see from the 2009 "Climategate" email of climate scientist Kevin Trenberth: "The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't." But the warming is only missing if one believes computer models where so-called feedbacks involving water vapor and clouds greatly amplify the small effect of CO2.

BBC Data Shows Global Warming to Destroy UK Coastline and Tourism Industry

Shocking revelation! Just after my most recent article about the fall in tourism to Japan from Europe, this information is released by the BBC about the effects of Global Warming on the UK economy.

Global Warming Alert! BBC Announces that rising sea levels will destroy Britain's coastline and the tourism industry turning that once proud nation into a giant penis shaped island. What a cock and balls! Something must be done. Watch the video for yourself and see:

I told many friends several years ago that Global Warming was all just a bunch of BS... Now it's even being ridiculed on one of its formerly strongest proponents the BBC.

On the other hand, rising sea levels predicted to turn Japan
into one huge nipple which will be VERY good for Japan's "slagging"
tourism industry and could be the "boost" Japan needs

Can there be any thinking person who actually believe in so-called "Man Made Global Warming"?

If so, there are many licensed institutions who are qualified to handle patients such a those. Seek help before its too late!

Earthquakes & Global Warming in this Little Shop of Horrors!

In a follow up to my article yesterday about today's sorry state of affairs whereby most adults are unable to critically read or judge information by use of analytical reasoning what they see / hear in the mass media. I'd like to expand upon that by posting and commenting on this completely ridiculous article that I stumbled upon soon after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami and subsequent Fukushima nuclear accident.
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
You'd think it would be just too completely insane and outrageous to try to link the natural disaster in northern Japan with Man-Made Global Warming (AGW) but this guy tries to do it.

He is a miserable failure.

Actually, this is funny... Well.... it would be funny excepting far too many people will believe this to be true.

Alternet (a supposedly reputable "Alternative Internet publication" that actually still supports idiocy like AGW) reports that Man-Made Global Warming is causing these earthquakes since 10 million years ago. Gee, I didn't know that man was causing AGW 10 million years ago. Heck, I didn't even know man had cars and factories 10 million years ago. Just goes to show what great "science" you can learn from publication like Alternet:

"... scientists have for the first time released a study that indicates that man made changes to our climate are also quite probably effecting the movement of tectonic plates around the globe as well. The implications of their research are far ranging as well as frightening:

An Australian-led team of researchers from France and Germany found that the strengthening Indian monsoon had accelerated movement of the Indian plate over the past 10 million years by a factor of about 20 percent.

Read that again.  It says, "the strengthening Indian monsoon had accelerated movement of the Indian plate over the past 10 million years by a factor of about 20 percent." You call that frightening? Did you know the sun will burnout in about 4.57 billions years? Now that's scary!

This scientist that they base this sensationalist nonsense also adds (in another article):

"Laffaldano stressed that his study did not mean that global warming would translate to stronger earthquakes happening more often, with the relevant patterns developing over "the order of millions of years."
"Of course earthquakes do occur at the boundaries between plates because of plate motions, but our work doesn't imply at all that we will see an increase in these types of events," he told AFP.

Gee.... Well, what does that mean? He just said 10 million years in the previous paragraph. That's a long time too.  Homo sapiens (that's us - in spite of your sexual preferences) didn't even appear on earth until about 120,000 years ago. How could anyone equate that with AGW? I mean, how could anyone with a brain larger than half a peanut equate that with AGW?

Logically, I don't know. But the writer of this article tries to do it.
Millions of years running fossil fuel guzzlers like this 150 million year B.C. Dino model has raped the environment and destroyed the landscape. Is it too late to reverse the Global Warming damage we've done? Many scientists say it is, "Yabba dabba doo?"

The article continues:
Lead researcher Giampiero Iaffaldano (sic) said Wednesday that although scientists have long known that tectonic movements influence climate by creating new mountains and sea trenches, his study was the first to show the reverse.

And where, pray tell is this guy's evidence? Not to be found in the article at all. The writer continues with this idiocy:
I am no scientist, but many scientists have been telling us that the changes we see are now locked in and will occur even if we ended all carbon, methane and other greenhouse gases today.

Nope. You are right. As for the first point, no argument there. You are no scientist. You are also definitely not trained well enough to be a decent reporter who checks facts either. Many scientists have been telling us!? Oh, really? Like who, may I ask? Mr. Giampiero Laffaldano? No, he hasn't. In fact, upon checking, it looks like you, Mr. Writer (who is only named as "Steven D" on the credits - no wonder!) have been taking Mr. Laffaldano's research way out of context. Shame on you! Not only are you a crap writer, Steven D., you are dishonest too... No wonder you are too embarrassed or ashamed to put your real name on such drivel!

In his report about this very same subject, that you are quoting, Mr. Laffaldano, says nothing about AGW. He only speaks about long term climate change in the terms of millions of years. I already pointed out that us humanoids have only been here for about 120,000. There's a pretty hefty difference between 120,000 and tens of millions... But hey! What's a few coins change amongst friends, right, Stevie? Here is a direct quote from Mr. Giampiero Laffaldano's own report

“The 100km-thick outer shell of Earth, the lithosphere, is divided into pieces called tectonic plates. Plates move in different directions at speeds in the order of centimetres per year, comparable to the speed of fingernail growth in humans.
“The significance of this finding lies in recognising for the first time that long-term climate changes have the potential to act as a force and influence the motion of tectonic plates," said Iaffaldano.
"It is known that certain geologic events caused by plate motions – for example the drift of continents, the closure of ocean basins and the building of large mountain belts – have the ability to influence climate patterns over a period of a million years.
"Now we know that the opposite holds as well: long-term climate change, or the natural changes in climate patterns over millions of years, can modify the motion of plates in a feedback mechanism.”

Steven D., the writer of this tripe then goes on to say,

"We are now only at a point where the only valid debate the extent of the damage (sic) that will occur to life on this planet if we can end or do not curb greenhouse gas emissions and other human activities that are driving climate change."

We are now at the point "where the only valid debate the extent of the damage"? Atrocious writing. Simply terrible. Does Stevie mean, "Where the only valid debate is the extent of the damage?" or "Where only the valid debate the extent of the damage?" 'Valid,' in this case, I suppose, would be meaning the people 'who are qualified and not nuts.' I think. This sentence is so poorly written that I have a hard time understanding what the writer really wants to say.

The reason I am not sure what this clown, Steve D., wants to say is that, like yesterday's posting showed, here is another person who fails miserably at the basic skill of critical reading and analytical reasoning. This sort of article is laughable. No wonder he doesn't sign his name.

Too bad far too many people read this nonsense and believe it without examining it for faults and poor reasoning.

Seriously. How embarrassing.... Embarrassing for the writer and the gullible reader both. The writer can't be helped. But at least he's smart enough to know to hide his identity and lock the door when he writes this science fiction tripe. Too bad there will be far too may readers (one is too many) who will read this crock and use it as evidence of AGW. Pathetic. Really.
